Veteran daytime actress Mary Beth Evans (Kayla, DAYS OF OUR LIVES; Sierra, AS THE WORLD TURNS) has been cast in the lead role of socialite Sara Garrett on the upcoming indie soap THE BAY. THE BAY was created by Gregori J. Martin, director of Manhattanites, and will star Tristan Rogers, Sandra Robinson, John Callahan and many other former daytime favorites. We Love Soaps introduced the new web series last week.
THE BAY is currently casting two actors who will play Mary Beth's son and daughter on the show. Look for that casting news to be revealed soon!
We Love Soaps recently broke the news that Mary Beth would be returning to AS THE WORLD TURNS for a week as Sierra before the show ends its run in September. She will also return to DAYS OF OUR LIVES as Kayla for Alice's memorial.
