When ONE LIFE TO LIVE returns on April 29, Andrew Trischitta will reprise the role of Jack Manning. We Love Soaps spoke with Trishitta about the return of ONE LIFE TO LIVE in a brand new interview from the set in Stamford, Connecticut. Read it below:WE LOVE SOAPS: How are you doing? Are you in school now?
ANDREW TRISCHITTA: I'm in school but missing a lot of classes. I'm going to get caught up when we finish this round of filming. I'll pick up all the schoolwork I've missed.
WE LOVE SOAPS: How's the commute to Stamford for you?
ANDREW TRISCHITTA: I live in New Jersey but I usually stay with my grandparents because they live close by. I stay with them or in a hotel so I don't have to commute as much.
WE LOVE SOAPS: It looked like ONE LIFE TO LIVE wasn't coming back then news broke that the show was returning. What was that like for you?
ANDREW TRISCHITTA: The reality set in when I got my first script and thought, "Okay, this is definitely happening." Before, I didn't know what to believe.
WE LOVE SOAPS: It seems like there will be a focus on the younger cast.
ANDREW TRISCHITTA: They are definitely going to target the younger audiences. The younger cast is great. We're all great friends. It will be good.
WE LOVE SOAPS: How much would you say you have in common with Jack?
ANDREW TRISCHITTA: Not a lot. He's still a pretty bad kid.
WE LOVE SOAPS: People are very tight-lipped about story around here. Is there anything you can preview for us about Jack?
ANDREW TRISCHITTA: I don't know what I can say without giving too much away. He's going in the same direction he was when we left off.
WE LOVE SOAPS: What have you learned working with veteran actors like Kassie Depaiva (Blair) and Roger Howarth (Todd)?
ANDREW TRISCHITTA: I just grab bits and pieces from them. They're so good to work with. You can feed off them and fine tune yourself and your acting.
WE LOVE SOAPS: What is the number one reason people should tune in and watch on April 29?
ANDREW TRISCHITTA: The show's going to be about realistic issues, things that happen in real life that a lot of people have experienced. It's not going to be like most soap operas. There won't be a lot of DNA switches, or dads coming back from the dead, or twin brothers. Not a lot of us have experienced having two dads that come back from the dead.
WE LOVE SOAPS: So you're not going to be playing two characters?
ANDREW TRISCHITTA: No, I'm not going to have a twin brother...that I know of.
