NBC asks if age really matters in a new reality dating series to be produced by Eyeworks-backed 3 Ball Productions and starring Australian tennis star Mark Philippoussis.
Age of Love, which premieres on June 18 at 21.00, will be hosted by Mark Consuelos (ex-Mateo, All My Children), delivering a twist on the traditional reality dating show format. The series follows 31-year-old Philippoussis as he attempts to find love by dating 13 women ranging in age from 21 to 48.
A spokesman for NBC said the series derives from "the current phenomenon of younger men dating older women."
