In “How the Other Half Lives,” we see how Eric (Kyle Chandler) frets over his job security. He begins to wonder how long he will last, or if he's really suited for it or not. Also, Dillon High's new principal Tami (Connie Britton) tries to befriend a newcomer. She extends a hand to Katie McCoy (Janine Turner), mother to J.D. McCoy. Meanwhile, Julie (Aimee Teegarden) shows her support for Matt (Zach Gilford), and the two connect again. Lyla (Minka Kelly) also worries about the welfare of Riggins (Taylor Kitsch) and Billy (Derek Philips), who work on another scheme. It's possible that something could go wrong when they put their heads together to make some money.
