Next Monday, January 19 is looking like an excellent episode of GUIDING LIGHT to check out as Natalia has a very busy day.ALMA Award nominee Jessica Leccia has been fantastic lately as Natalia especially in her scenes with Crystal Chappell's Olivia and Jacqueline Tsirkin's Emma. Leccia married Brian Malloy in May 2008 and is expecting her first child in June.
Olivia and Natalia (aka "Otalia") have the kind of mature relationship that is so rare on television these days. They talk about real things, communicate like adults with each other, share the load in raising Emma and generally do things people can relate to. The only comparison I can make is with Eric and Tami Taylor (played by Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton) on FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, who have the most realistic marriage I've ever seen on television.
No matter what happens in the future with these two, Olivia and Natalia need to remain friends. GUIDING LIGHT has struck gold with this pair (actually trio with Emma) who are relatable to the audience in so many ways.
January 19 is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day in the US so likely some of you are not working that day. Don't miss GUIDING LIGHT.
