DND chief appears in Philippines soap opera
Defense Secretary and presidential aspirant Gilbert Teodoro appeared last night in ABS-CBN’s top-rating soap opera TAYONG DALAWAY, playing himself. But Bong Osorio, ABS-CBN’s vice president for corporate communications, was quick to clarify that Teodoro’s guesting had no connection with his bid for the presidency and the show’s producers just wanted to make the episode as accurate and realistic as possible, even if the plot is fictional.

Gloria LeRoy and Sarah Knowlton join DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES cast
Gloria LeRoy is joining DH as a neighborhood fixture -- presumably a longtime one -- who we'll first meet next month, right around the time Nicollette Sheridan takes her last breath as Edie. Sarah Knowlton has been tapped to play a woman who may or may not be having an affair with Tom.

"Sordid Lives" play headed to New York
The latest incarnation of "Sordid Lives" the play is heading to New York. The show stars southern fried actors Boogie Dabney, Pam Hays, Rhonda Kierpiec, Melonea Locklair, Melanie Cason, Laura Hunt, Rob Maniscalco, Skipper Monroe, Jerry Michel, Linda Esposito, Dana De Martino, and Jeff Craver as Earl/Brother Boy. You can meet the cast on the opening night of the play, March 20, and enjoy a champagne toast with them after the show.

ABC Family's Kyle XY stared his last blank stare, breathed his last bellybutton-less breath, levitated his last syringe full of bacterial growth from an old cup. The series about the supersmart, superpowered cutie taken in by the Trager family signed off for good last night, canceled after three seasons.

McKee to return to HOLLYOAKS?
Former Hollyoaks actress Roxanne McKee could make a surprise return to the soap just five months after her apparent screen death. The 26-year-old played superbitch Louise Summers for three years before announcing her decision to quit last October.
