Frank Dicopoulos' "Gut Feeling" on GL's Future

TimeOut New York has published an exclusive new interview with GUIDING LIGHT star Frank Dicopoulos. He talks about his participation in the new "Loukoumi's Good Deeds" book, daughter Olivia and, of course, the cancellation of GL by CBS.

Well, you know, it’s very sad. I spent 22 years on the show. Guiding Light has been my life! It was my first recurring role on national network television, and I can’t thank CBS enough for that opportunity. But my feeling on the whole matter is this: GUIDING LIGHT is ending on CBS, but I’m hoping that someone else out there will believe in and appreciate the show and pick it up. It’s a hope and a dream and a belief. I think it will have a home on another network, but I know of nothing specific. It’s just a gut feeling. As for the future, I have no choice but to pursue other interests and leads, but if GUIDING LIGHT is picked up by another network, I will stay on the show as long as they will have me.
