Just hours after I posted about Joshua Morrow tying Eric Braeden with 10 Soap Opera Digest covers over the past year (52 issues), I received the May 5 issue with Morrow on the cover again! Lynn Leahey must love to keeping me busy counting these things. In the previous 52 issues, here are the updated rankings based on number of cover appearances (some of the images are inset pics not the main photo).

I'm quite happy to see two same sex couples on the cover! Still waiting for the Nuke cover though for two years.
My only fear is "Otalia" fans will buy a million copies off the newsstands and SOD will swear that Joshua Morrow sold all those copies.
With the new issue here, we've now gone a full year since an African American has appeared on the cover.
UPDATE:
Upon further examination, I did find one cover with an African American actor, a tiny picture of Kristoff St. John back in September.
UPDATE #2: The home subscriber cover is basially the same as newsstands except it DOES not including GL's Otalia/Frank.
