New service tracks online interest in TV
Web site creation service Wetpaint has launched a measurement system that tracks fan interest in popular TV shows. Billed as the first measurement tool of its kind, TV Fandex tracks the level of "fan engagement" of popular programs on Facebook, Twitter, Google, and Webpaint's own network of 1.5 million user-created fan sites.

"It's clear there is a fundamental decentralization under way in how consumers experience TV programming, but the measurement tools have remained substantially the same," Wetpaint CEO Ben Elowitz said. "Fans now have the tools to connect and evangelize, and they are using them with gusto. The TV Fandex provides networks and producers with the first gauge of the winners and losers in creating and retaining an online audience."

INTERVIEW: SECRET LIFE's Francia Raisa (Adrian)
"Ever since I was little and saw my first soap opera, a Spanish soap opera, I wanted to get into it. Then when I was in high school I got more motivation because I would say 'hey I want to be an actress', and people would be like 'yeah ok, like that’s really going to happen', and I was like 'Hey! Yes it is! And now I’m really gonna do it, because you said I wouldn’t.'"

INTERVIEW: B&B's Betty White (Ann)
"It sounds corny, but I get a lot of scripts sent to me. And some of them are not your cup of tea. You know. So I just say a polite, 'Thank you, thank you for thinking of me. But I'm booked.' [LAUGHTER] But then every once in a while - I loved this script for The Proposal when I first read it."

HOLLYOAKS' Lister on 'nerve-wracking' lesbian scenes
HOLLYOAKS' Zoe Lister reveals it was 'nerve-wracking' filming her recent lesbian scenes for the Channel 4 soap. Fans were shocked when Zoe's character, bubbly film student Zoe Carpenter, cheated on boyfriend Mike Barnes with his daughter Sarah (played by Loui Bately, pictured) a few months ago.

The 27-year-old actress said: "It was quite nerve-wracking actually as I'm good friends with Loui - it's quite a strange thing to smooch a really good friend so we had to get over the giggles and think 'right, just do it!'"
