Paul Leyden Returning to AS THE WORLD TURNS

Sara Bibel has revealed in an interview with Terri Colombino at Fancast.com that Paul Leyden will be reprising his role as Simon Frasier on AS THE WORLD TURNS.

I can’t believe you have been with the show for ten years. It seems like only yesterday Katie was losing her virginity to Simon in the back of a car.

I know! And I love Paul Leyden. He’s coming back for a little while.

He is? When is that going to happen?

He’s filming in the next month and we’re about two months ahead so it’s not going to probably air until around Christmas.

    I wondered if Simon would return with Austin Peck's departure. Of course, when Simon was last seen, he had had a torrid, destructive affair with Carly that saw the two of them on lam.

    Did Simon beat the charges?

    It's shocking how much ATWT seems to actually be trying to improve after seemingly trying to self-destruct over the last 18 months.

    I hope ATWT can turn things around and see a significant rise in the ratings to convince CBS to renew the show again.

    I'm so happy he is returning. I hope this means that ATWT is trying to save the show instead of having all these returns before it ends, to tie up storylines.

    He better reuinte with Katie, I loved them
