Daniel Cosgrove Joins AS THE WORLD TURNS

Soap Opera Digest is reporting that Daniel Cosgrove (ex-Bill, GUIDING LIGHT) is heading to Oakdale and is set to air on AS THE WORLD TURNS in early 2010. Cosgrove's other soap roles include Scott on ALL MY CHILDREN and Matt on BEVERLY HILLS, 90210. He was cast as Owen on VENICE but when the show filmed the first season last month, Galen Gering had assumed the role.

Cosgrove's character has not been announced. I have been saying for ages that Cosgrove should play a dynamic version of Dr. Chris Hughes on ATWT, but no word from the show about whether my dream will come true.
