ALL MY CHILDREN's Cornelius Smith, Jr. and Debbie Morgan were won NAACP Image Awards on Friday night for Actor and Actress in a Daytime Drama series.
Other soap opera-related winners included:
- Drama series: LINCOLN HEIGHTS
- Actor in a motion picture: Morgan Freeman, Invictus
- Writing in a dramatic series: Shonda Rhimes, GREY'S ANATOMY
- Directing in a drama series: Chandra Wilson, GREY'S ANATOMY
Others in attendance included THE YOUNG AND THE RESLTESS' Tonya Lee Williams and Bryton James, BUPPIES star Tatyana Ali, and FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS actress Jurnee Smollett.
