According to Celebgalz.com and several cast members of DAYS OR OUR LIVES on Twitter, the beloved legendary Frances Reid (1914-2010) passed away earlier on the evening of February 3rd. Details will follow as they become available.Reid played Alice Horton on DAYS OF OUR LIVES from the very beginning in 1965. Prior to DAYS she starred on AS THE WORLD TURNS, THE EDGE OF NIGHT and PORTIA FACES LIFE. She earned a Daytime Emmy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2004.
