The Los Angeles Web Series Festival screened 47 web series over the weekend at their first annual event. On Sunday night, an awards ceremony was held honoring the best of the best. DIARY OF A SINGLE MOM, recent winner of the Indie Soap Award as Best Indie Soap, was named Web Series of the Year.27 shows won 51 awards in 21 categories.

The ANACOSTIA wins were Supporting Actor in a Drama (Walter Maxfield Jones), Supporting Actress in a Drama, and Best Theme Song. THE NEW 20S won Supporting Actor in a Drama (Erin Wiley) and Supporting Actress in a Drama (David Haley). VENICE won for Outstanding Achievement in a Drama Series, Best Theme Music and Lead Actress in a Drama (Crystal Chappell).
There were multiple winners in each category.
