Helen Wagner spoke the first words on AS THE WORLD TURNS on April 2, 1956, "Good morning, dear" to her beloved Chris. Many fans, including myself, were hoping some variation of "good night, dear" would end the show in September. Hopefully that can still happen or at least a tribute worthy of a legend like Helen Wagner.
