Larry Keith Has Passed Away at Age 79

The Pine Valley Bulletin is reporting that actor Larry Keith, who played Nick Davis on ALL MY CHILDREN for many years, passed away on Sunday at the age of 79. Keith earned Daytime Emmy nominations in 1977 and 1978 for the character. His most recent role was as Dr. Karl Brandt on DAMAGES.

Prior to his famous soap run on ALL MY CHILDREN, Keith played Lefty Burns on ANOTHER WORLD. Lefty ran a numbers racket and was eventually killed by Lee Randolph with a poker. Agnes Nixon wrote for ANOTHER WORLD and created the character of Lefty. She eventually brought Keith onto AMC as Nick, who married Ann and Kitty before becoming engaged to Erica, the daughter of his best friend, Mona.
