As a tribute to All My Children's final days on ABC, we continue our series of daily Flashbacks today with a look at popular late 1980s couple Nico and Cecily.The October 1989 issue of Soap Opera People magazine featured a full-page color glossy of Nico and Cecily, played by current General Hospital star Maurice Benard and Rosa Langschwadt (later Nevin).
In a December 2010 interview with WE LOVE SOAPS TV, Benard reflected on his time on AMC saying, "For the time, it was funny and had a lot different elements. The problem that I have with it was I wasn't that great of an actor then. It was my first gig and I did what I could and I wanted to be good, but I'm very critical. But for the time and what it did for me, it was fantastic."
