In what appears to be another attempt to punch-up ONE LIFE TO LIVE's replacement, THE REVOLUTION, Brian Frons has re-jiggered the cast to contain an obstetrician/gynecologist and a psychotherapist.
"I am thrilled to bring this stellar team of experts to THE REVOLUTION" said Frons. "I am confident that the combination of these co-hosts, along with our producing partners at 3 Ball Productions/Eyeworks USA who specialize in lifestyle transformations, will resonate with our viewers."
A graduate of Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons, Dr. Jennifer Ashton is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is an attending physician at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in Englewood, NJ, an affiliate of Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Most recently she has served as a medical correspondent for CBS News and a medical contributor for Fox News.
Dr. Tiffanie Davis Henry, Ph.D. is a psychotherapist (though not a medical doctor) with a private practice in Atlanta that focuses on helping women and couples forge healthier relationships. She has a BA in Psychology, an MA in Professional Counseling, and a doctorate in Human Sexuality Education.
ABC also reports that a financial reporter has been thrown into the mix, as well. Michelle Singletary writes the nationally syndicated personal finance column, "The Color of Money," for The Washington Post. Singletary is also the author of three books: Spend Well, Live Rich; Your Money and Your Man and the recently published The Power to Prosper: 21 Days to Financial Freedom.
ABC is still struggling to make THE CHEW a success after it replaced ALL MY CHILDREN in the 1:00 PM time slot. As TV Media Insights clearly outlines, THE CHEW's ratings may not be strong enough to justify making another, very similar programming change at 2:00 PM.
