STORY:
Frisco (real name Andrew) arrived in Port Charles as a singer in 1984 (Wagner's biggest hit "All I Need" was climbing the charts) but soon took a job with the WSB. Felicia came to town dressed as a boy looking for an heirloom Aztec ring that Frisco had purchased. There were triangles, great adventures (Mexico!) and lots of complications (Frisco was thought to be dead) but the couple fell in love and eventually married.
IMPACT:
Frisco & Felicia were very representative of what GENERAL HOSPITAL was in the mid-to-late '80s and early '90s--the fun, adventure, sexiness, romance and style were all there. They developed a huge fan following and the exposure on this still popular GH (just not at its peak level) definitely helped Wagner's budding music career. Frisco & Felicia laster longer than some of the other popular couplings of their day. Their daughter Maxie is now a central character in the show, and Felicia returned this Spring. Wagner and Malandro fell in love for real and married in 1993. Jack Wagner would go on to starring roles on MELROSE PLACE and THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL.
