A massive housecleaning is happening this week at THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS as yet another actress has been fired from the soap. Debbi Morgan, who plays Devon's mother Harmony, has been axed."To all my twitter fans," Morgan posted on Twitter. "Wanted to B the first to tell you the new regime has let me go from Y&R. Will tape my last show Oct. 5th & I move on!"
Morgan was the third actress to be let go this week, joining Genie Francis (Genevieve) and Marcy Rylan (Abby).
Meanwhile, THE FRESH PRINCE OF BEL-AIR alum James Avery will be guest starring on Y&R beginning October 12. EW.com reports he will oversee a "very important trial." Actress Cooper Harris tweeted about booking a role in the soap as well. No word yet on who she will be playing. Jess Walton is also expected to return to the soap for an arc this fall.
