1922: Charita Bauer was born. The actress, who portrayed GUIDING LIGHT's beloved Bert Bauer, died in February 1985 at age 62.

1957: On THE EDGE OF NIGHT, Bebe came back home and told Martin how much she loved him.

1972: On ANOTHER WORLD, in New York City, Dennis (Mike Hammett) and his live-in nurse Alice (Jacqueline Courtney), using the alias Alice Talbot, talked about how much they missed their mothers as she sat by his bed while he fell asleep.

1982: ON THE DOCTORS, Jean Marc (Jean LeClerc) wondered if Althea (Elizabeth Hubbard) trusted him.



1985: On GUIDING LIGHT, the ghost of Lujack (Vincent Irizarry) gave Beth (Judi Evans) a pep talk.



1993: On DAYS OF OUR LIVES, a broken up Roman (Wayne Northrop) sang "Rock-a-bye Baby".



1995: On ONE LIFE TO LIVE, Blair (Kassie) called Marty (Susan Haskell) a murderer.



2010: Actress Jacqueline Courtney died at age 64. She was best known for her role as Alice Matthews in ANOTHER WORLD FROM 1964 TO 1975. Her other soap roles included Pat Ashley in ONE LIFE TO LIVE, Diane Winston in LOVING and Ann Lee in OUR FIVE DAUGHTERS. She also appeared in THE EDGE OF NIGHT and THE DOCTORS.
