Deborah Shelton and Cathy Podewell are returning to DALLAS for the funeral of J.R. Ewing (Larry Hagman), according to TV Guide Magazine. Shelton, who from 1984-1987 played J.R.'s mistress Mandy Winger, has accepted an invitation from TNT's DALLAS to say a few words at the memorial service Bobby (Patrick Duffy) and Sue Ellen (Linda Gray) will throw for the departed Ewing patriarch.
J.R.'s young, country-hick wife Cally Harper Ewing, played by Podewell from 1988-1991, will also be on hand.
Other members of the extended Ewing family who will be paying their respects include J.R.'s brother Gary Ewing (Ted Shackelford), half brother Ray Krebbs (Steve Kanaly), and niece Lucy Ewing (Charlene Tilton). And don't be surprised if J.R.'s nemesis Cliff Barnes (Ken Kercheval) makes an unwelcome appearance before the coffin closes.
The second season of TNT's DALLAS will premiere on January 28, 2013. J.R.'s funeral is slated to air March 11.
