DAYTIME RATINGS: Good Week For B&B, Bad For GH

The daytime Nielsen ratings are in for the week of May 13-17, 2013. All four daytime soaps remain up in total viewers year-over-year. GENERAL HOSPITAL was the only daytime soap to fall week-over-week in total viewers, Women 18-49 viewers and Women 18-34 viewers.

CBS's THE TALK, featuring a week of shows from New York, posted growth in viewers, women 25-54 and women 18-49 from the prior week and also growth from last year's comparable New York trip, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending May 19.

Compared to the prior week, THE TALK was up +5% in viewers (2.43m from 2.31m), +10% in women 25-54 (1.1/07 from 1.0/06) and +17% in women 18-49 (0.7/05 from 0.6/04).

Compared to the same week in New York last year, THE TALK also increased +5% in viewers (2.43m from 2.31m), +10% in women 25-54 (1.1/07 from 1.0/06) and was even in women 18-49.
