Jacqueline MacInnes Wood Stars In LMN's 'Her Husband’s Betrayal' On August 2

Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, who plays Steffy Forrester Spencer on the Emmy Award-winning CBS daytime drama, THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL, will star in the World Premiere of Her Husband’s Betrayal, on Friday, August 2 at 8 p.m. PT/ET on LMN (Lifetime Movie Network).

Wood, who was recently nominated for her second Daytime Emmy Award, stars as Cathy Coulter, a newlywed with a young son. She is looking forward to a bright future with her new husband Riley (Shawn Roberts, DEGRASSI) and son, Billy. Before too long, Cathy becomes disheartened with Riley’s frequent business trips. She confides to Tora, (Zoie Palmer) her neighbor, that she fears being cheated on again.

Riley’s absences cause Cathy to follow him the next time he leaves for a road trip. When she uncovers her husband’s secret, he blackmails her, kidnaps her son and threatens to kill him if she doesn’t comply with his demands. A desperate Cathy goes on the run to unearth the truth before she loses her son and quite possibly her life.

Wood was born in Windsor, Ontario Canada. At the age of 18 she moved to Toronto to pursue a career in acting. In 2008, she relocated to Los Angeles and within a week of moving to the United States, she auditioned for and won the role of Steffy on THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL. Wood's performance in the role has garnered her two consecutive nominations for the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series in 2012 and 2013.

B&B has been flexible allowing Jacqui time to pursue other acting opportunities. She starred in the Disney XD television movie Skyrunners and the horror film Final Destination 5.

She was able to return to Canada to film, Her Husband’s Betrayal, and play a role very unlike her character of Steffy.

Wood is an avid motorcyclist. The producers of B&B incorporated her love of bike riding into her character and Steffy is often seen riding a motorcycle on the series.

Her Husband’s Betrayal is Executive Produced by Tom Berry, Breanne Hartley, Jack Gilardi, Jr. and Darby Parker. Producers are Neil Bregman and Stefan Wodoslawsky. It was written by Russ Chasney and directed by Ron Oliver.
