William deVry has joined the cast of GENERAL HOSPITAL as Derek Wells. The actor shared his excitement about the new role on Facebook revealing that today was his first day at work on GH."It is a contract role," deVry wrote. "Very rare these days indeed. And I come to town as the character of Derek Wells. Derek has an agenda, let me tell ya!!!"
deVry's first air date on GENERAL HOSPITAL is July 30th.
The news comes on the 10th anniversary of the day his ALL MY CHILDREN character, Michael Cambias, famously raped Bianca Montgomery (Eden Riegel). deVry was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award as Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his work on AMC. He later played Storm Logan in THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL.
More recently he played roles in NIKITA and HEMLOCK GROVE.
