DAYS OF OUR LIVES will begin airing on a new channel in Las Vegas starting August 19th, according to TVNewsCheck.com.Las Vegas NBC affiliate KSNV is expanding its news lineup with the addition NEWS 3 LIVE at 3 starting August 19. To make room, THE DOCTORS and DR. PHIL will move one hour earlier to 1 and 2 p.m. respectively.
Since DAYS OF OUR LIVES currently airs at 1 p.m., the show needed a new timeslot. Instead it's getting a whole new station.
"We have not forgotten the fans of DAYS OF OUR LIVES," KSNV GM Lisa Howfield said. "We have made arrangements with NBC and Sinclair Broadcast Group to broadcast DAYS OF OUR LIVES at its normal time 1 p.m. each day."
DAYS will begin airing on Sinclair's CW affiliate KVCW starting August 19. KVCW can be found on channels 6 and 1006 on Cox cable and channel 33 on DirecTV and Dish.
