Eileen Davidson will be making a three-episode visit to THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS as Ashley Abbott starting October 25.When news broke last month that she was leaving DAYS OF OUR LIVES, and the role of Kristen DiMera, Davidson told fans via Facebook that she wanted time off to enjoy her family.
"My last day was July 16 but I will be airing until November," she revealed. "I'm taking some time off to enjoy my family however I am not retiring. Not really sure what's next for me work wise. But I am looking forward to figuring it out! Thanks to all of you for your support and love. I've had an incredible time on DOOL this year....."

Davidson is already back taping at Y&R for episodes airing on November 27 and December 2.
