Drake Hogestyn, who last aired as John Black on DAYS OF OUR LIVES in June, returns to the studio today to begin taping new episodes, according to Soap Opera Digest.Despite not appearing on the show, fans continued to vote for him in droves in the weekly We Love Soaps Top 10 Actors list.
Hogestyn will begin airing again in early 2014.
In the August 12, 2013 issue of Digest, DAYS Executive Producer Ken Corday indicated there was a good chance Hogestyn would be back, adding, "I consider him one of the iconic characters in Salem and someone who can come and go because John Black is a superspy, know all-do all."
