AWKWARD Season 4 Premieres April 15 on MTV; FAKING IT Debuts April 22


MTV announced today the premiere dates for the season four special one hour return of AWKWARD, on Tuesday, April 15th at 10PM ET/PT and the season premiere date of the highly anticipated coming-of-age comedy series from Carter Covington, FAKING IT, on Tuesday, April 22nd at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT. This will put the two comedies back to back on Tuesday's nights moving forward. Additionally, HOUSE OF FOOD, a one hour cooking competition reality series will premiere Monday, March 31st at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

AWKWARD season four returns with new showrunners Chris Alberghini and Mike Chessler. This season promises even more complications for Jenna as a senior. She endures more boy trouble, drama with her friends, a new girl in town who has eyes for Matty and even some cat fishing.

"Faking It" is a comedy that revolves around two best friends who will do almost anything to fit in and be popular in high school, including pretending to be something they are not. Cast includes: Katie Stevens as "Karma," Rita Volk as "Amy," Michael Willett as "Shane," Gregg Sulkin as "Liam" and Bailey Buntain as "Lauren" and is created and executive produced by Carter Covington.

FAKING IT is slated to air globally on MTV's channels around the world beginning with its U.S. debut on April 22, 2014. Each episode of FAKING IT will air across MTV's international channels beginning in June 2014 (check local listings).

HOUSE OF FOOD is a drama-infused take on food TV where a group of young aspiring chefs with no formal culinary training are put to the ultimate challenge. "House of Food" is a one hour, weekly docu-series that combines the exciting real-life competitive elements of culinary school, with the dramatic setting of a house reality show. The students have been chosen for their passion for cooking and food culture, and their backgrounds are as varied as their personalities. With three of the country's best chefs as their teachers and the city of Los Angeles as their classroom, this determined group will live and learn together but only one will win an apprenticeship of a lifetime. Chefs include: Brooke Williamson, Brendan Collins, Casey Lane; Student Mentor and Chef Chris Nirschel; Contestants: Brian Kho, Suki Secka, Amanda Shaw, Harrison Bader, Will Anderson, Jake Weber, Lorena Bolanos and Gillian Espinosa and is executive produced by Mike Duffy and Jenny Daly.
