'Days of our Lives' Adds Former 'One Life to Live' Actress Melissa Archer

Former One Life to Live actress Melissa Archer has joined the cast of NBC soap opera Days of our Lives. According to Soap Opera Digest, Archer is already filming her role as Serena.

Archer will first air on December 5.

Archer played Natalie Buchanan on ABC's One Life to Live from 2001 to 2012, then again in Prospect Park's online version of the show in 2013.

Archer's former One Life to Live co-star Kassie DePaiva tweeted with excitement after the news was revealed. "Welcome to SALEM! #Days #Oltl GOOD TIMES COMING!"
