General Hospital is looking for a a name actor to play a "handsome, charming Caucasian man in his 50s." Described as a major recurring role, could this be a recast for the character of Ned Ashton, currently played by Wally Kurth, who recently signed a contract to return to Days of our Lives full-time?
The role of Ned was originated by Kurt McKinney in 1988, and has been played off and on by Kurth since 1991.
