ABC executive Nathan Varni, who oversees General Hospital as part of the network's current programming team, is asking fans to start a positivity campaign."A fan created this I saw recently and I thought let's see how many shares we can get going to show support for the show!" Varni wrote on Facebook. "Like and share if you love and support GENERAL HOSPITAL on ABC! I know everyone sees negatives about the show, how about we start a positivity campaign?! Also just to update all fans this week's episodes are great but starting next week make sure to watch daily! These episodes were shot in between the head writer switch and Frank and team did a marvelous job in fine tuning these episodes to hopefully feel more like the GH you know and love. I can't tell you how much everyone's support amongst the FB fan base means to all of us at GH and ABC. I love GH! Pass it on!"
