On Thursday, the final episode of Neighbours will be broadcast in the UK and in its homeland. Officially, the soap is "resting". But the sets have been dismantled and actors have taken other jobs. It looks like it really is goodbye to Ramsay Street.
Guiding Light star Beth Chamberlin reveals cancer diagnosis: "Tough times comey"The soap opera star, Parade reports, was diagnosed with early-stage endometrial cancer in mid-October and underwent a complete hysterectomy on November 21.
"Today, my final pathology report came back. Stage 1A, no spread, no further treatment necessary. I am lucky,” she said.

Per Deadline, which broke the news of Lind’s casting, the plot follows a social worker, Kath, played by Colman, and a mother and daughter duo, played by Larson and Lind, respectively, who are “thrust into crisis” when the teenage Mia alleges abuse by her stepfather, played by Shawn Hatosy. It is written and executive-produced by Sarah Treem, who co-created and served as showrunner of the Golden Globe-winning drama The Affair.
