Ashley Jones Joins 'Beyond the Gates' Cast

A familiar face is headed to Fairmont Crest.

Following the recent announcement that Beyond the Gates has been renewed for two additional seasons, it has now been confirmed that daytime favorite Ashley Jones is joining the cast of the CBS soap.

"We can confirm Ashley Jones will be appearing in Beyond the Gates," a spokesperson for the series told TV Insider. Additional details about her character and when viewers can expect to see her on screen are being kept under wraps for now.

Jones is a veteran of the soap opera world. She first gained prominence as Megan Dennison on The Young and the Restless, a role she played from 1997 to 2001 and one that earned her two Daytime Emmy Award nominations.

In 2004, she joined The Bold and the Beautiful as Dr. Bridget Forrester, becoming a fan favorite during her six-year run on the series. Jones continued to return to the role in recurring and guest appearances over the years, most recently earning a Daytime Emmy nomination in 2024 for Outstanding Guest Performer in a Drama Series.

Her daytime résumé also includes a stint on General Hospital, where she appeared as Parker Forsyth from 2016 to 2017.

Beyond soaps, Jones has built an impressive primetime career with appearances on series including True Blood, House, Bones, The Mentalist, and Drop Dead Diva.

Rumors about Jones joining Beyond the Gates began circulating after fans spotted her in a celebratory cast video shared by Maurice P. Kerry, who plays Randy on the soap. The video captured the cast and crew reacting to the show's two-season renewal, and Jones could be seen among those celebrating. She also fueled speculation by posting an Instagram Story from Atlanta, where Beyond the Gates is taped.

While the details of her role remain a mystery, Jones' arrival adds another recognizable daytime star to the growing cast of television's newest soap opera.
