Actor Shawn Christian made his mark on daytime television with roles on all three broadcast networks.  Daytime fans remember him for his memorable performances as Mike Kasnoff on As the World Turns, Ross Rayburn on One Life to Live, and Daniel Jonas on Days of our Lives.

Over the years, We Love Soaps had the pleasure of interviewing Christian on several occasions, discussing his career, his approach to acting, and his experiences both on and off the daytime screen.

April 2010

In our three-part "Talking Secrets" interview, Christian looked back on his soap opera journey while promoting the NBC television movie Secrets of the Mountain.

Part 1 - Christian discusses the film, responds to claims that daytime television had "run its course," and shares his thoughts on the future of the genre.

July 2010

We Love Soaps TV caught up with Christian on the red carpet at the 37th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, where he discussed the excitement surrounding daytime television's biggest night.



December 2010

Christian joined co-star Crystal Chappell to celebrate the 45th anniversary of Days of our Lives and discuss the commemorative book "Days of our Lives: 45 Years," released in honor of the iconic soap's legacy.
