Lynn Herring made her first appearance on General Hospital as the unforgettable Lucy Coe in 1986. She left Port Charles in 1992 for Days of our Lives, where she took on the role of Lisanne Gardner.
After Days, Herring returned to General Hospital as Lucy and became part of the cast of the spinoff Port Charles in 1997. When Port Charles ended its run in 2003, many fans expected Herring to return to GH—but Lucy's next appearance in Port Charles would take a little longer.
In 2009, Herring joined As the World Turns as Audrey Coleman. Then, in December 2012, she finally made her long-awaited return to General Hospital as Lucy Coe, a role she continues to play today.
Over the course of her daytime career, Herring has earned two Daytime Emmy Award nominations and four Soap Opera Digest Awards.
