ABC Family Greenlights CHASING LIFE

ABC Family has added another new one-hour drama series, CHASING LIFE (formerly TERMINALES), to its roster of millennial-skewing original programming. The series is scheduled to start production in Santa Clarita in July and will premiere on ABC Family in early 2014.

CHASING LIFE is adapted from the successful Televisa Spanish-language Mexican television series and is a co-production of BV Family Productions, Lionsgate, and Televisa in association with ABC Family.

TERMINALES Begins Production Today, Stars Italia Ricci, Mary Page Keller

Production begins today on the ABC Family drama series pilot TERMINALES, starring Italia Ricci (UNNATURAL HISTORY), Mary Page Keller (ANOTHER WORLD), Vondie Curtis-Hall (ER), Aisha Dee (I HATE MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER), Richard Brancatisano (HOME AND AWAY), Abhi Sinha (The Social Network), Haley Ramm (WITHOUT A TRACE) and guest stars Barry Watson (7TH HEAVEN) and Rebecca Schull (SUITS).

ABC Family Developing US Version Of Mexican Drama TERMINALES

Lionsgate TV and Kapital Entertainment are producing the U.S. version of the Televisa Mexican drama TERMINALES for ABC Family. The show, created and produced by Miguel Angel Fox, chronicles the life of young and successful publicist April Marquez, who is diagnosed with terminal cancer.
