The series finale of TREME ("...To Miss New Orleans") airs on Sunday, December 29th at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HBO.

Colson (David Morse) is offered a transfer; guardians send Lambreaux (Clarke Peters) home; Batiste (Wendell Pierce) takes his sons to a Dr. John gig; Hidalgo returns to Texas; McAlary revisits his pothole, now decorated.

PREVIEW: BOARDWALK EMPIRE ("The Pony") & TREME ("Promised Land")

The third season of BOARDWALK EMPIRE continues on Sunday, November 4 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HBO.

In "The Pony," Gillian (Gretchen Mol) makes her peace with Jimmy’s death, though not with Nucky (Steve Buscemi), as Gyp (Bobby Cannavale) arrives to play ally. Working off his debt to O’Banion (Arron Shiver), Van Alden (Michael Shannon) attends a meeting with Capone (Stephen Graham) and Torrio (Greg Antonacci); later, after a workplace meltdown, he considers Sigrid’s (Christiane Seidel) case for staying put versus resuming a life on the lam. With help from Gaston Means (Stephen Root), Nucky pays an unscheduled visit to Andrew Mellon (James Cromwell), offering the Treasury Secretary a recommendation and a business proposal. Margaret (Kelly Macdonald) makes a stand on birth control; Nucky and Owen (Charlie Cox) shop for a birthday pony; Billie (Meg Chambers Steedle) eyes a future on the silver screen, to Nucky’s chagrin.

NEWS ROUNDUP: Jack Wagner & Nancy Lee Grahn Visit CASTLE; Walt Willey Web Series; Kalinda Story Ending; Celtic Woman To B&B; GH Stars On MILLIONAIRE

Grahn will play Samantha Voss, a wealthy, recently divorced woman, caught in a hilariously ill-willed War of the Roses struggle with her ex-husband (played by WEEDS star Brendan Ford.)

In the same January episode in which Grahn appears, titled "Significant Others," the MELROSE PLACE, GENERAL HOSPITAL and BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL alum will play former pro golfer Billy Piper whose career went down in flames amidst a nasty divorce scandal. But unlike the Tiger Woods saga, Piper's ex ended up dead, along with a prominent divorce attorney.

That's how THE GOOD WIFE co-creator and co-showrunner Robert King defines what went wrong with the introduction of fan favorite Kalinda's (Archie Panjabi) estranged husband, Nick (Marc Warren). The story line has left fans of the critically acclaimed drama surprisingly split after three seasons of following the seductive and mysterious private investigator's every move. "Some characters you actually don't want to see that much backstory. We're adjusting," he tells TVGuide.com. "No matter where we went, this was not a place where the audience wanted to go."

In the episode, titled "You'd Be Surprised," after being detained in Washington by Daugherty’s henchmen, Nucky approaches Esther Randolph (Julianne Nicholson), his onetime nemesis, and later entertains an intriguing proposition from Gaston Means. In Atlantic City, Margaret copes with Teddy’s (Rory and Declan McTigue) demons, while Owen investigates a suspicious fire; Gillian feuds with Lucky and finds a surrogate for Jimmy.

PREVIEW: BOARDWALK EMPIRE ("You'd Be Surprised") & TREME ("The Greatest Love")

The third season of BOARDWALK EMPIRE continues on Sunday, October 14 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HBO.

In the episode titled "You'd Be Surprised," after venting with Nucky about his liquor travails, Rothstein sends Gyp an unequivocal message in Tabor Heights. In Washington, Gaston Means (Stephen Root) sees opportunity in a Senate investigation of Harry Daugherty (Christopher McDonald) and the Justice Department. Billie (Meg Chambers Steedle) gets a new co-star to revive her faltering show; Van Alden (Michael Shannon) and Sigrid (Christiane Seidel) receive an unexpected visitor; Gillian (Gretchen Mol) worries about keeping her business afloat in Jimmys absence; Margaret has Awkward moments at the hospital and, later, at Madam Jeunets (Anna Katarina).

PREVIEW: BOARDWALK EMPIRE ("Blue Bell Boy") & TREME ("Me Donkey Want Water")

The third season of BOARDWALK EMPIRE continues on Sunday, October 7 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HBO.

In the episode titled "Blue Bell Boy," after tracking down a liquor thief, Nucky (Steve Buscemi) and Owen (Charlie Cox) spend a long night hiding out from the feds with the precocious perp. In his boss absence, and with Rothstein (Michael Stuhlbarg) fuming over a late delivery, Mickey (Paul Sparks) overrules Eli (Shea Whigham) to make a routing call that will have far-reaching consequences for Nucky and Gyp (Bobby Cannavale). Margaret (Kelly Macdonald) encounters a familiar face while promoting Dr. Masons (Patrick Kennedy) classes at the new womens clinic at St. Theresas. In New York, Lucky (Vincent Piazza) haggles with Joe Masseria (Ivo Nandi) over heroin splits, while in Chicago, Capones (Stephen Graham) feud with OBanion (Arron Shiver) heats up when one of his collectors gets roughed up on the South Side.

In the episode titled "Bone for Tuna," disturbed by a recent nightmare and Billie’s absence, Nucky reluctantly joins Margaret to receive a high honor from the Church. Meanwhile, Gyp makes a deal with Nucky for a onetime liquor shipment, though the mobster’s longtime intentions remain very much up in the air. Van Alden regrets trying to socialize with his co-workers; Margaret takes her women’s-clinic pitch to a higher authority; Lucky and Meyer protect their investments; Richard sets the record straight with Mickey, and with Nucky.

NEWS ROUNDUP: ARMY WIVES Cast Changes? Plus, Victoria Rowell, Nancy Lee Grahn, Hayes Book Tour

Kim Delaney Poised To Exit Lifetime’s ARMY WIVES; Will There Be More Departures?
ARMY WIVES was renewed on Friday, but the original cast’s contracts were up at the end of Season 6, and, besides Catherine Bell, who was signed by ABC to a new two-year deal in May, the rest don’t have agreements to return. Also locked in for Season 7 is Kelli Williams as she just joined the show last season.

GENERAL HOSPITAL's Nancy Lee Grahn: 'I feel like what happened was we flat-lined'
"I feel like what happened was we flat-lined," Grahn said about GENERAL HOSPITAL. "Then the new network people, producer and the new writer came in and put the [de]fibrillator on us."

Later, answering "speed round" questions, Grahn was asked what her character, Alexis, would say to Sarah Palin. Her answer: "What the f*ck is wrong with you?"

Valarie Pettiford's Busy Fall: Two Recurring TV Roles and a New Album

The talented and beautiful Valarie Pettiford, known to daytime fans for her roles as Sheila Price in ONE LIFE TO LIVE and Courtney Walker in ANOTHER WORLD, will be dominating the small screen this fall.  The ubiquitous actress will be appearing in recurring roles on two shows on two major networks, with others soon to be announced. Valarie can be seen on the third season of HBO’s TREME and CBS’s new show THE GOLDEN BOY, starring Chi McBride, who has been waiting ten years to work with Valarie. After the first day’s shoot with McBride (she plays his wife), Valarie went back to her dressing room to find a massive, six-foot tall arrangement of flowers with a card attached that simply read, “Finally.”

BOARDWALK EMPIRE Returns September 16, TREME On September 23

The premiere dates for the new seasons of the HBO series BOADWALK EMPIRE and TREME have been revealed.

The 12-episode third season of BOADWALK EMPIRE kicks off Sunday, September 16 at 9:00 p.m. (ET/PT). Set in the 1920s in the early days of Prohibition, this Golden Globe-winning series chronicles the life and times of “Nucky” Thompson, the undisputed leader of Atlantic City.

NEWS: Banff World Media Awards, BBC, David Sutcliffe, Oprah

Best Soap Opera/Telenovela nominees announced for Banff World Media Awards
Top-rating primetime Kapamilya soap MARA CLARA picked up a 2011 Banff World Media Festival – also known as the Rockies – nomination over the weekend.

The drama serial remake competes for Best Soap Opera/Telenovela category alongside South Korea's BREAD, LOVE AND DREAMS (BAKER KING also aired on GMA-7), UK's CORONATION STREET, USA's DAYS OF OUR LIVES, EVA LUNA and THE QUEEN OF THE SOUTH.

The Best Soap Opera/Telenovela category falls under The Fiction Rockies bracket which will announce winners June 12 (June 13 in Manila) at the AOL Canada Theater.

Nominees in other categories include BOARDWALK EMPIRE, GREY'S ANATOMY, PRETTY LITTLE LIARS and DETROIT 1-8-7.
