Take note, OLTL. This is what's going to happen in the Nielsens if you don't keep Kish.
ReplyDeleteInteresting observation Emily. I have to wonder if this would explain the drop though, given the Kish news came later in the week. I know my own frustration with OLTL comes from the whole Mitch story. I just feel bored watching a one-note cartoon villain rise from the dead every few years with no plausible explanation, assaulting half the women in town. This for me bring the quality of the show down. Anybody else?
ReplyDeleteDamon, I agree with you. Mitch should only have been brought back for a limited run, to resolve the Rex's father storyline. I had no idea they were going to keep him this long. His cartoonishness doesn't fit the style of OLTL.
ReplyDeleteI saw the poll last week right after I heard about Kish and I just couldn't bring myself to vote for OLTL for the first time in months. I am enjoying the show more than any other on ABC (I know, faint praise) but can't believe how this all went down. I am part of the "mainstream" (if that is code for heterosexual) audience and I love the storyline. I didn't vote for OLTL again this week either...
