Former GUIDING LIGHT star Ellen Parker (Maureen Bauer) told Manhattan Supreme Court on Thursday she was in bed on the night of August 25, 2011 when she heard noises near her second-floor window.
She then saw an intruder grab a jewelry box from her dressing table before climbing out through the window.
William Pelzer, who is in his 40s, is on trial accused of the break-in and Parker picked him out of a photo line-up, according to the New York Post.
The defendant's lawyer, Kevin Canfield, said, "There are no fingerprints or DNA evidence linking him to the break-in."
