FLASHBACK: The Story of 'General Hospital' (1963-1975)

In the mid-1970s Daytime TV magazine ran a series called "The STORY of..." which included complete histories up until that point of several daytime soaps. In the classic article below, the story of General Hospital is explained. The story was published in three parts that came out in monthly installments.

    Does anyone know what character actress Joan Blackman played on GH? I've been searching, but have found no record of her being on the show, yet she is in the 1969 cast photo.
