1981: Donald May debuted as Grant Wheeler on TEXAS.

1984: On ALL MY CHILDREN, Greg (Laurence Lau) and Jenny (Kim Delaney) talked about having children.



1984: On GUIDING LIGHT, Beth (Judi Evans) suggested that Lujack (Vincent Irizarry) teach her how to drive his motorcycle.



1987: Brenda Dickson aired for the final time as Jill Foster Abbott on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS.

1991: The brief run of Richard J. Allen and Anne Schoettle as DAYS OF OUR LIVES head writers came to an end.

1996: On ANOTHER WORLD, Vicky (Jensen Buchanan)poured out her heart at the graves of Ryan and Bridget as Grant (Mark Pinter) watched.

1999: On ANOTHER WORLD, Cass (Stephen Schnetzer) learned Charlie was missing.



2001: SPYDER GAMES, a new half-hour soap opera, premiered on MTV. Watch the first episode below, and note the clever references to both B&B and Y&R by characters who actually watch daytime soaps. The show was created by Valerie Ahern and Christian McLaughlin.
