Kelly Thiebaud, who has played Britt Westbourne on General Hospital for the past two years, has chosen not to renew her contract with the ABC soap opera.Thiebaud will remain with the show on a recurring basis. The arrangement may be short-lived, as the actress is reportedly eager to pursue other roles.
Prior to GH, Thiebaud's TV credits included The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Days of our Lives, Castle and Chuck. She has appeared in numerous films including Grace Unplugged, Healing the Stupid, Raze, Cameraman and Found.
UPDATE:
Marc Anthony Samuel (Felix) and John J. York (Mac) are also now recurring with the show.
"Hey fans, thanks for the support. GH is just a small part of a great and ongoing journey. Onward and upward!" Samuel tweeted. "To be clear guys, I'm recurring. Not on contract though."
