Beyond the Gates kept the drama high this week with Vegas wedding backlash and a shocking Bill and Dani kiss. But here are the three moments that stood out as my absolute favorites:
1. Eva, Tomas, and Kat
Eva (Ambyr Michelle) was all too happy to gloat when Kat (Colby Muhammad) caught her with a fresh out of the shower Tomas (Alex Alegria). She reveled in bragging about their night together — but the celebration ended fast. Once Kat walked out, Tomas admitted his heart was still with Kat and their hookup was a mistake. Eva’s bravado crumbled, and she broke down in tears as she kicked him out.
2. The Introduction of Donnell McBride
This week introduced us to Donnell (Alex Cheeks), the son of the late Dr. Doug McBride. His first scenes with Shanice (Ernestine Johnson Morrison) , Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli), Randy (Maurice P. Kerry), and Joey (Jon Lindstrom) showed his fierce loyalty to his father — and just how much he didn’t know about Doug and Vanessa’s complicated history. Donnell is already shaping up to be a character worth watching.
3. Naomi Is Pregnant
Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) dropped the pregnancy bombshell on Jacob (Jibre Hordges), who immediately dreamed aloud about building a happy family together. But despite his optimism, Naomi stood firm — she doesn’t want children. Her honesty was heartbreaking, and it leaves a big question mark over where their relationship goes next.
Week after week, Beyond the Gates pulls us in with raw emotion and fearless drama — and this week was no exception.
