NEWS: Robin Strasser, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, Ashlyn Pearce, Melissa Reeves, Michael Easton

Soap star Robin Strasser finds new scenery in Thousand Oaks
Robin Strasser (ex-Dorian, One Life to Live) has cast herself as a bicoastal resident with the purchase of a home in Ventura County. The actress and native New Yorker recently paid $975,000 for a two-story home in the Newbury Park area of Thousand Oaks.

Set on half an acre in a gated community, the house features a brick-lined walkway, a fire pit, a barbecue island and a swimming pool with raised spa and a waterfall.

Jacqueline MacInnes Wood previews Ivy's next move on The Bold and the Beautiful (spoilers)
"Ivy will share the video with Steffy’s brother Thomas and promises to not go to the police if he makes sure she’s the new face of Forrester Creations. So, basically, she’s willing to hide the truth in order to be a model. That’s blackmail. You’d think maybe she’d think big and use the video to blackmail her way into Steffy’s job as president of Forrester. But to be a model? [Laughs] Listen, if Steffy had another tire iron right now, she’d be using it on Ivy!"

Ashlyn Pearce talks about her exit from The Bold and the Beautiful as Aly Forrester
"Of course, my first thought was, ‘Oh, no. This is the death of my character and I’m really sad about that.’ " The actress was greatly moved by fan response to Aly's fate. "Aly resonated with a lot of viewers, but the magnitude of people who were sad about losing this character ... it touched me," she says. "That’s when it hit me that, ‘Wow, this is really over.’ "

Michael Easton answers fans questions about his departure from General Hospital as Silas Clay
"We’re big boys and girls, we signed on the dotted line, we were compensated and knew what we were getting into. They have been good to me over the years. I appreciate your concern but business is business. It’s my responsibility to provide for my family, not the network or the show."

The Wiz Live! adds Amber Riley and Uzo Aduba
The Glee alum and the Orange Is the New Black star will play, respectively, the Good Witch of the North and Glinda, the Good Witch of the South.

John Stamos: The Unauthorized Full House Story got one thing right — I did try to get the Olsen twins fired
"The Olsen twins cried a lot,” Stamos told critics while promoting Fox’s Grandfathered. "It was very difficult to get the shot. So that actually is 100 percent accurate.”

HBO orders The Wire creator's '70s porn pilot starring James Franco as twins
David Simon’s The Deuce will be set in Times Square amid the rise of the porn industry in the mid-70s, with Franco playing legendary twin porn kingpins. “We’re interested in what it means when profit is the primary metric for what we call society,” says Simon. “In that sense, this story is intended as neither prurient nor puritan. It’s about a product, and those human beings who created, sold, profited from and suffered with that product.”

ABC: Grey’s Anatomy could go on “many, many years”
“We’ve seen the pitch for next season and the show reinvents itself again,” says ABC president Paul Lee. Shonda Rhimes, he adds, "really is a remarkable showrunner. We have no reason to expect that Grey’s Anatomy will not go on for many, many years to come.”

Shonda Rhimes: Katherine Heigl is not coming back to Grey’s Anatomy
Asked to give the Izzie storyline closure, Rhimes says: "I’m done with that story. I’ve turned that idea over in my mind a thousand times and thought about how it would go. And I don’t think so.”

AnnaLynne McCord joins Secrets & Lies
The 90210 and Dallas alum will play a “slightly inappropriate housewife” in Season 2.

ABC won’t rule out a Revenge spinoff
ABC president Paul Lee says: "It’s a wonderful brand; it’s known around the world. That doesn’t preclude us from doing it again.”

Melissa Reeves remembers her all-time favorite Days of our Lives scenes
“My favorite Days scenes of all time are those old Christmas get-togethers when Macdonald Carey [Tom] and Frances Reid [Alice] were still with us,” says Reeves. “Those two were such inspirations to me and I miss them so much. I was a teenager from the east coast who had moved to Los Angeles for acting work and really missed my family. Mac and Frances took me under their wings. They taught me so much about the business. Mac would give me the most incredible books that really furthered my education, and Frances taught me so many great life lessons. I felt like I had a grandpa and grandma on the set looking after me. I know our audience felt the same way. Every Christmas on Days, we still gather at the Horton house and hang those family ornaments. We still have that same set and Mac’s same chair. Every time they put me in that chair to play a scene, I cry a little. So many wonderful memories!”

Kate Mansi Update: 'Days of our Lives' Star on the Mend

Kate Mansi (via Twitter)
Days of our Lives actress Kate Mansi (Abigail), who recently had emergency laproscopic surgery for internal bleeding, is on the mend. The actress told Soap Opera Digest that she got a pick-me-up from on-screen mom Melissa Reeves (Jennifer), who visited her on March 14th, which was also Reeves’s birthday.

“Missy insisted on visiting when I returned home to my family’s house to recover,” Mansi told the magazine. “She said, ‘I have to see at least one of my children on my birthday’ since her family was out of town. We made sure Missy had a birthday wish and a piece of her country home with some apple pie and candles. Missy’s visit was the first time I really felt like the worst was over — she made me laugh so much that night. I am now focusing on positivity and progress. The healing power of a mother’s love is really somethin’.”
