Alan Carter: There were cads before Tad came along, but let's face it....he can have gray hair now and have kids old enough to have their own AARP cards, but he will always be in our minds the sexy jerk who slept with half of Pine Valley.
Connie Passalacqua Hayman (Marlena De Lacroix): His Tad the Cad on ALL MY CHILDREN has become a legend, growing up with us our whole lives. Tad is now as comforting as his father Joe Martin, although not as emotionally mature. Knight always had the magic touch with humor, and there will forever be only one Tad.
Roger Newcomb: Tad has endured because of Michael E. Knight's brilliant performances. He has always been one of the best comedic actors ever on soaps. When you combine that with the depth and emotion he brings to scenes, Martin has created some of the most memorable moments in ALL MY CHILDREN history.

Carmen Thomas: (worked with Knight on ALL MY CHILDREN) He's just a sweetheart. It's really touching seeing him now being gray. When I knew him he was really this soap stud, yet he was this sweetheart teddy bear with his insecurities in this soap star stud body. The biggest thing that stands out for me when I think of Michael is his sense of humor. He has a great sense of humor.
