'General Hospital' Recasts Scout Cain; Kayden Brenna Tokarski Takes Over Role

Kayden Brenna TokarskiGeneral Hospital is set to introduce a new face in the role of Scout Cain.

According to Soap Opera Digest, Kayden Brenna Tokarski has been cast as Scout, the daughter of Drew Cain and the late Sam McCall. She will make her Port Charles debut in July, succeeding Cosette Abinante, who has portrayed the character since 2022.

The recast comes as the ABC soap ages up Scout, who was born on-screen in February 2017. The character is stepping into a more prominent role at a particularly emotional time for the Cain family.

Scout's father is currently in a locked-in state after what initially appeared to be a stroke. However, viewers know his condition was actually caused by drugs administered by Scout's stepmother, Willow.

With Scout poised to become more involved in the storyline, Tokarski's arrival marks a new chapter for the young character as General Hospital continues to explore the fallout from the ongoing family drama.
