Kelly Kruger is headed to Port Charles.
According to TV Insider, the former The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful actress has joined the cast of General Hospital as Serena Baldwin, the daughter of Scott Baldwin and the late Dominique Stanton.
Kruger, whose credits also include Criminal Minds, Entourage, and several Hallmark movies, said she is thrilled to return to daytime television.
"I'm honored and excited to be stepping into this role," Kruger told TV Insider. "I cannot wait for the fans to meet Serena!"
Serena was last seen on-screen in 2017. Introduced as an infant in 1992, the character later moved to Port Charles, where she was involved in several major storylines, including kidnappings and a battle with temporary blindness. Serena also shares a family connection with current Port Charles resident Cody Bell, her half-brother through Dominique.
Kruger begins filming on June 8 and will make her first appearance in July.
